How do they do it?

My friends who are work outside the home moms, that is. It's already driving me crazy after only a few days. Three or four times a year I work when there's an election. Trying to get myself and the Girl ready and out of the house every morning is a lot of work, especially on mornings when she has preschool. I've always known they worked two tough jobs but getting a taste of it is plenty for me!

The Great Potty Day

Who knew when I single woman that one day I would be so thrilled about a child's bodily functions? There was a major celebration in the Girl's bathroom today. Yes, she actually pooped on the potty. The Girl is currently enjoying a cherry flavored Blow-Pop in honor of this achievement. Hopefully, this is a trend and not a one time occurrence.

I hate potty training. Three accidents so far today and one that was no accident, I think. Ugh! Nothing like a child standing in the foyer and peeing. Thank goodness it was tile. I'm really ready for the Girl to be trained. Diapers, Pull-Ups, or panties is driving me crazy. Please let her finish soon!

Why is it that I have wake up the Girl on school or gymnastics days but every other day she's up early? And today, it was even earlier. The Aggie, bless his soul, went in and tried to settle her back down even though he was running late for work. Thankfully, after a few minutes of rocking, Judy Cat came in and laid on the Girl's bed. That enticed her back into bed although I had to agree to leaving on a small light and giving her a few books. One hour later I hear a small voice telling me to get up because it's morning. I freely admit to grabbing a little more sleep by letting her watch tv in my bed. I'm a bad mommy.

Yeah, so I'm a follower. What can I say? My friends are blogging so I'm blogging. Who knows if it will be interesting or bore everyone to death. Oh, guess I should mention, Kelliloo is not my name. I may be Southern but not that Southern.
